This August and September, Johnnie Walker takes over Rekōdo for three nights of vinyl, whisky cocktails and Japanese-inspired dining.
Inspired by the hidden gems found on the B side of a record, B-Sides moves beyond predictable playlists to celebrate cult classics, deep cuts and unexpected favourites selected by some of Sydney’s most respected vinyl DJs.
Across three consecutive Thursday nights, Rekōdo will transform into an intimate listening room, pairing a rotating line-up of vinyl selectors with a specially curated set menu and four exclusive Johnnie Walker Black Label cocktails, crafted especially for the series:
Kuro Melody: Johnnie Walker Black Label, triple sec, strawberry, orange bitters, lemon
The Whisky Track: Johnnie Walker Black Label, junmai sake, herbal liqueur, gingerbread, orange bitters, lime
Ronin Reserve: Johnnie Walker Black Label, umeshu, rosso vermouth, aromatic bitters, plum
Vinyl Highball: Johnnie Walker Black Label, agave, grapefruit bitters, yuzu, soda, shiso
